You may have read the name of this particular post and then wondered what the heck decking screws have to do with the garden. Are decking screws not really used to screw decking planks together? Well yes, they may be, however have you ever thought of developing an outdoor patio in your backyard?

Frequently it’s nice to be able to be in your garden without having to deal with your seat sinking into the ground or your feet or perhaps nice velvet or even silk evening shoes getting wet as a result of dew on a lawn. A terrific way to have the capacity to do that would be to possess a deck set up in your garden. This is where the decking screws come up.

It was once a clear case of merely laying down a concrete slab in the middle of your garden and after that laying some sort of route to the slab, however this has virtually long gone out of fashion. It’s now a lot more common to come across wooden patio’s in gardens. The look much more appealing and also look a lot more natural. Correct, they’re a lot tougher to keep up and are generally much more challenging to install, but they’re so very definitely worth it.

You basically have two options with regards to setting up a wooden deck inside your backyard. You can either do it yourself or else you can hire someone else to get it done for you.

The option you adopt is really just a matter of how handy you consider yourself to generally be and just how much time you’ve got on your hands.

If you decide to have somebody else get it done for you all you have to do is make sure that they’ve access to the property on the particular day and then at the end of that day you will probably possess a beautiful wood deck in your garden. The only thing that is left to do is actually place the path and you have a great garden deck to sit down on if you ever have an evening party or simply wish to sit outdoors and relax.

The option of doing it yourself is a little more tricky. The Fall of Man – Part 8 – In the Garden – Enmity Between the Woman and the Serpent

I Hate Snakes

Have you ever wondered why most people have an aversion to snakes? I certainly do. I hate snakes. When I was working on an oil drilling rig in the Cheyenne Valley of Oklahoma we were constantly alert for rattlesnakes. The vibration of our drilling rig drew snakes to our location.

One particular well which we drilled next to a mesa was particularly dangerous. The snakes hid under steps, around our substructure, and in our cottonseed hull trailer. We killed over one hundred rattlesnakes on that location. I guess that’s why they have rattlesnake hunts in Oklahoma.

Animosity Between Woman and the Serpent.

Anyway, I was reading Genesis 3:15 in my Bible and found that God had placed animosity between the woman and the serpent. What I found most interesting was that the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent would hate each other.

I found this passage of scripture interesting. Why didn’t God place animosity between the man and the serpent? Why the woman?

I have learned over the years that although the Bible account is about actual events God uses his word to reveal himself to us. Everything in the Bible is put there for a reason. God’s word says all scripture is to teach us doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. (II Timothy 3:16)

I thought about the verse and asked the Father, in Jesus name, to help me understand. About a month later I was reading Hebrews 2:14, and the answer became clear.

Hebrews 2:14, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.”

Man in his weakness has continually fought sin and failed. Only in Christ can man overcome sin.

Genesis 3:15 is a foreshadowing of Christ. Just as it is foretold that the seed of the woman would bruise the serpent’s head. So Christ, born of a virgin, as his feet were nailed to the cross, triumphed over the head of the serpent, (Satan, the father of sin), and forever gives salvation to all who call on him.

It is Jesus, the seed of woman, that tasted death for every man and provided salvation for all. Praise God, who has given provision for salvation through his Son, Jesus Christ.
